Sarah is a senior at Union University studying Business Management with a University Studies minor. This has allowed her to pursue the things she’s most interested in such as economics, marketing, and health. Originally from small town East Texas, Sarah is a proud and loyal Texan, unashamedly admitting that no place could ever be better. She is approaching three years of marriage to the man of her dreams and high school sweetheart. She works as a barista at the campus coffee shops, helps to manage the social media accounts, and loves getting to help people figure out their perfect drink. Her free time is spent lifting, yoga-ing, blogging, and spending time with her closest friends.

Sarah believes that as Christ followers, we are called to a higher calling. That entails loving others deeply and being a willing vessel to pour out Christ’s consistent love. The call to ministry by James is a heavy one, and one that every believer should take seriously. It is for this reason that she is so excited to be part of One Twenty Seven and understand more deeply how we should love.

Anna is a senior at Union University studying Communications and Humanitarian Studies.  This fall, she’ll be a first-year law student at Pepperdine Law in Malibu, California.  Anna is originally from Kansas City, Kansas, but now claims Nashville, Tennessee, as her second home.  She loves traveling, is fascinated by new places and people, and is always, always up for a new adventure.  She’ll strike up a conversation with anyone, and it’s really not uncommon for her to make friends with a total stranger in a coffee shop.  She loves rainy days and good books, and if you give her coffee, she will love you forever.  Last but not least, she is also an unapologetic follower of Jesus Christ.

She believes Jesus has clearly called us to care for the  defenseless, and this is something she is deeply passionate about.  It led to her work with a variety of non-profit organizations–including Show Hope, Face of Justice, and the Scarlet Rope Project among others–during her undergraduate years.  It is also one of the reasons that she is excited to be a part of One Twenty Seven.

He was born and raised in Nashville, TN and will always call that place home. While not working on school or at Gap, Beau is playing music listening to music, or talking about music with his friends. Despite his city of birth, he hates country music.

Beau was raised in a household where he was taught to love his neighbor and pray for those who persecute you. He believes that these values and are worth pursuing and acknowledges that James clearly states that religion is to care for widows and orphans. He is eager to see what conversations that One Twenty Seven will start among his peers.
